Iconic Italian cycling brand Bianchi joins forces with one of the most successful teams in modern triathlon, launching the Bianchi Pro Triathlon Team through to 2028

The legacy of elite performance meets timeless Italian craftsmanship. From 2026 onwards, one of the most decorated teams in international triathlon will race under a new name and a new colour, as Bianchi becomes the title and bike partner of the Bianchi Pro Triathlon Team in a long-term partnership confirmed through the end of the 2028 season.

The team will compete on Bianchi’s cutting-edge Aquila RC time-trial bike and the Oltre Aero road bike, providing its world-class athletes with one of the most advanced and aerodynamically refined race setups in professional triathlon.

From Belgian Roots to Global Dominance

Founded in 2010 by Belgian lifestyle real-estate group Uplace, the team was originally created with a clear mission: to put Belgian professional triathlon on the international map. That ambition was swiftly fulfilled. Within just three seasons, the team recorded 12 Ironman victories and 19 Ironman podium finishes, establishing itself as a force in the sport.

The launch of the international team in 2014 marked the beginning of an extraordinary era. Since then, the team has amassed more than 150 victories andover 300 podium finishes worldwide, including:

  • Ironman World Champion (2022)
  • World Champion Long Distance Triathlon (2021 & 2025)
  • WTCS Vice-World Champion (2025)
  • Olympic bronze medal – Paris 2024
  • PTO European Open Champion (2023)
  • 11 Continental Championship titles
  • Victories at the sport’s most iconic events including Challenge Roth, Ironman Frankfurt, Lanzarote, Nice, Texas, Melbourne and Zurich

A Shared Vision of Innovation and Performance

Now, the team enters its most ambitious chapter yet. “After 12 magnificent seasons as one of the world’s leading professional triathlon teams, we are ready to take the next step in our journey together with Bianchi,” says CEO Bob De Wolf.“ The Bianchi Pro Triathlon Team is built on professionalism, innovation and uncompromising performance. Our philosophy is simple: provide our athletes with the very best support, technology and environment to achieve world-class results.” De Wolf continues: “This partnership represents far more than a bike sponsorship. Bianchi brings unrivalled expertise, in-house innovation and a relentless pursuit of performance. With access to the new Bianchi Aquila RC, we firmly believe our athletes will be riding one of the fastest bikes on the planet. The aerodynamic and performance gains this collaboration delivers will allow our athletes to perform stronger and race faster. As one of the world’s most premium bicycle manufacturers, Bianchi perfectly aligns with our ambition. We are proud to welcome them as our new title and bike partner and together with our fantastic partners and sponsors we cannot wait to see this partnership come to life on the world’s biggest stages.”

Bianchi CEO Alberto Cavaggioni adds:

“It’s a landmark moment for Bianchi to be partnering with such an iconic and successful team. As a global brand, we were looking to work with a squad of multinational riders, competing across every continent in the world’s biggest races, and we couldn’t be happier to have joined forces with such a proven and respected outfit.”
