Antonio Benito Lopez delivered a superb performance at the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt to claim third place and secure his qualification for the Ironman World Championship in Kona later this season. Antonio exited the water in the lead group, rode attentively near the front on the bike and produced a brilliant run, to charge onto the podium, crossing the finish line in of 4:54:47. Reigning world champion Casper Stornes (NOR; 4:50:23) broke the tape ahead of compatriot Gustav Iden who finished second (NOR; 4:42:54).

The Brazilian arrived in Sardinia riding a wave of momentum after claiming silver at WTCS Yokohama a fortnight ago and following it up with a dominant victory at the Mallorca Olympic Triathlon just seven days later. The Mallorca Olympic Triathlon belonged entirely to the Bianchi Pro Triathlon Team as Miguel Hidalgo and Daisy Davies delivered two dominant victories on the south coast of the Balearic Island. One week after claiming silver at WTCS Yokohama, Hidalgo underlined his outstanding form with a commanding solo performance in Colònia Sant Jordi, breaking away early in the swim before dismantling the field on the bike and controlling the run to secure his first victory of the 2026 season. In the women’s race, Davies continued her sensational start to the year by backing up her recent Ironman South Africa triumph with another emphatic win, overpowering the field from the opening stages and cruising to back-to-back victories in Bianchi colours. From the first strokes in the Mediterranean to the final metres along the Mallorcan promenade, both athletes raced with complete authority, giving Bianchi Pro Triathlon Team a perfect double victory in one of the island’s most iconic races.

Hidalgo had a fantastic race throughout. A tough swim made for early selection, with Miguel attentively in the front, exiting the water in 4th. The front group of 6 worked strongly together extending their lead lap by lap to 1’13 at the halfway mark. The Brazilian stormed into transition in second place and started the run to battle for victory. After a tremendous final 10k pushing for the win, the Bianchi Pro Triathlete eventually had to settle, with Hauser taking the win and Miguel taking a magnificent second. Big WTCS points on the board, moving Hidalgo to 4th in the World rankings.

Daisy Davies delivered a masterclass from gun to tape to claim a commanding victory at the IRONMAN African Championship in South Africa, stamping her authority on the race from the very first stroke. The British athlete took the front right at the start of the swim, kept extended her lead on the bike to a maximum of 16 minutes and managed that gap perfectly during the closing marathon. With a time of 8:46:30, she crossed the finish line to break the tape and take her first win for the Bianchi Pro Triathlon Team in her very first outing in celeste. Daisy was joined on the podium by Katrine Christensen (DEN; 8:57:59) and Daniela Bleymehl (GER; 8:59:55).
